Shouldn’t Feel a Thing

With every new transaction,
By beggar or by king,
We’ll take a little fraction –
You shouldn’t feel a thing.

This very slight extraction
Is like a wallet ping,
A Lilliputian action –
You shouldn’t feel a thing.

It’s more of a distraction,
This whisper of a sting,
Which calls for no reaction –
You shouldn’t feel a thing.

The minuscule subtraction
Of money we shall wring,
Is hardly a contraction –
You shouldn’t feel a thing.

Our tiny interaction
Most certainly will bring
Much needed tax exaction –
You shouldn’t feel a thing.

We find it gaining traction
Among the moonbat wing,
Who have a tax attraction –
And never feel a thing.

  1. Ah, yes, the Tobin tax - the whole MO behind the "Occupy" movement, although the suckers out there in the cold and wet haven't got a clue that's what they're being used for.....
