Week 1

The simplest pleasures in life
Require a man and a wife,
     The children of same,
     And Sunday’s big game,
And steaks with a fork and a knife.

Despite any pain or regrets,
Your finances, mortgage and debts
     Will vanish away,
     Like cuts of fillet,
When Dallas kicks off to the Jets.

Whatever your city or team,
Each season begins with a dream:
     To root for a win
     With kith and with kin,
And gallons of Cookies-n-Cream.
